As much as photography is an art, there’s also much of science involved if you’re going to get from amateur to professional, and while you are not dealing with stuff like string theory or time-space manipulation (Fans of the Flash TV show will understand), you do have to grapple with the Inverse Square Law and understanding how the spectrum of light bends, if you’re going to achieve desired results.
Couple that with working in a small studio space that doesn’t always allow for the most flexible of setups and a series of problems will arise and that is what this video actively tries to tackle.
Karl Taylor is a seasoned photographer and in this video, he talks about how to best make use of a small studio space to achieve the best looking images. Most photography is about light (size of the light, intensity, distance, angle vector, etc.) and Karl briefly touches on these various factors and how manipulating them will assist you to create the images you want in a small studio space.
