There’s nothing more important than lighting in photography and cinematography (well, outside owning a camera of course) and in this video, YouTube photography couple Becki and Chris go through three different lighting setups that you can achieve with one light.

Now, it’s no news that photography equipment is expensive (I’m talking to you Profoto), and so getting more than one light source while necessary, isn’t exactly super easy. So while you build on getting the next light source,  Becki and Chris go through three setups that simply require one light, a softbox, and a reflector then they go through these three setup positions namely;

  • Clam Shell Lighting Setup
  • Faux Ring Light Setup
  • Kicker + Reflector Setup

You can watch the video below and modify as you like to best achieve the look you want:
