Host of the meeting is Documentary Photographer, Oluwafemi Stephen and according to him;
“As a people we were once glorious, but couldn’t write our own stories, now we are blank with no history written about our exploits, though, Images were taken, perception were formed about us by outsiders; while we sit and watch. Now,we are in the Millennial, images are still taken, stories are still written, this time, by our very own. They are forming a new perspective about us, Some are factual while others are simply not genuine. Facts is, we now tell our stories as we experience them. The question is, what narrative are we really sending out to people? Are they just images and stories we create, not minding the content we deliver about our existence? Are we forcing a new narrative or only writing our story as a people?”
