DJI released the Mavic Air 2 right in the middle of the global lockdown and if you didn’t know, no one would blame you (We were all trying to just stay alive after all) but with world cases of the Corona Virus getting smaller by the day and the global economy starting to get back to some degree of normalcy, Cinematographer and Youtuber Gena Negata popularly known as Potato Jet has pulled out a comprehensive comparison video placing new Mavic Air 2 against the Mavic 2 Pro (and the Mavic Mini to some degree).
In the video, He talks about the Pros and Cons of both drones and does extensive footage tests, laying out their faults and the various feats that make flying each of these drones better.
At the end of the day, the Mavic 2 Pro does come out on top but it is built to be the best in the tier of portable drones and it does cost twice the price of the Mavic Air 2 ($1420) but if you are looking for something that delivers on quality whilst still saving you a ton of cash ($799), the Mavic Air 2 is the way to go.
